resonator
n. 共鸣器,共鸣体,共振器

共鸣器,共鸣体,共振器

resonator
n 1: a hollow chamber whose dimensions allow the resonant
oscillation of electromagnetic or acoustic waves [synonym:
{resonator}, {cavity resonator}, {resonating chamber}]
2: an electrical circuit that combines capacitance and
inductance in such a way that a periodic electric oscillation
will reach maximum amplitude [synonym: {resonator}, {resonant
circuit}]
3: any system that resonates

Resonator \Res"o*na`tor\ (-n?`t?r), n. [NL. & G.]
1. (Acoustics) Anything which resounds; specifically, a
vessel in the form of a cylinder open at one end, or a
hollow ball of brass with two apertures, so contrived as
to greatly intensify a musical tone by its resonance. It
is used for the study and analysis of complex sounds.
[1913 Webster]

2. Anything that resounds or resonates; specif.:
(a) (Teleg.) An open box for containing a sounder and
designed to concentrate and amplify the sound.
(b) (Elec.) Any of various apparatus for exhibiting or
utilizing the effects of resonance in connection with
open circuits, as a device having an oscillating
circuit which includes a helix of bare copper wire, a
variable number of coils of which can be connected in
circuit with a condenser and spark gap excited with an
induction coil. It is used to create high-frequency
electric brush discharges.
(c) (Wireless Teleg.) The antenna system and other
high-frequency circuits of a receiving apparatus.
[Webster 1913 Suppl.]

  • Resonator - Wikipedia
A resonator is a device or system that exhibits resonance or resonant behavior That is, it naturally oscillates with greater amplitude at some frequencies, called resonant frequencies, than at other frequencies

A resonator is a specialized device engineered to manage energy, particularly vibration or sound, by interacting with it at specific frequencies In acoustics, this involves precisely controlling sound waves generated by a mechanical system
  • Resonator | Acoustic, Vibrations, Soundwaves | Britannica
Resonator, acoustical device for reinforcing sound, as the sounding board of a piano, the “belly” of a stringed instrument, the air mass of an organ pipe, and the throat, nose, and mouth cavities of a vocal animal
  • What Is A Resonator and Why Should You Care? - The Drive
Resonators exist to modulate that sound and change it in such a way that it is more able to be muted slightly by the muffler

reZonator supports different optical system types — standing wave laser cavities and running wave (ring) resonators, as well as conventional single-pass systems, e g , pump roads or beam expanders The M² beam quality factor also is taken into account for single-pass systems

The meaning of RESONATOR is something that resounds or resonates
  • 7. 8: Resonators - Physics LibreTexts
Resonators are distributed oscillators, i e structures that may sustain standing waves (in electrodynamics, oscillations of the electromagnetic field) even without an external source, until the oscillation amplitude slowly decreases in time due to unavoidable energy losses

  • Ceramic resonator - Wikipedia
A ceramic resonator is often used in place of quartz crystals as a reference clock or signal generator in electronic circuitry due to its low cost and smaller size
  • Sound - Helmholtz Resonator, Acoustics, Vibrations | Britannica
When a resonator is held near the source of a sound, the air in it will begin to resonate if the tone being analyzed has a spectral component at the frequency of the resonator
